There isn’t a simple standard rubber band size. The size of a rubber band is determined by its length in millimetres, which can be measured by placing the folded rubber band along the length of a ruler. A size number is assigned all rubber bands, to make everything a little easier!
Here are a few suggestions to help you pick out the right size!
- No. 14: Will hold 8 pencils
- No. 34: Will hold 10 Envelopes
- No. 89: Will hold a shoebox
The level of security you require depends on the type of industry and size of the shred particle you require. Strip-Cut Level P1-P2 shreds approximately 36 strips based on a 5.8mm cut-size. Cross-Cut shreds each A4 sheet into approximately 410 particles based on 4x38mm cut to size. Micro-Cut shreds A4 paper into approximately 2500 particles based on 2x12mm cut-size.
We recommend if you would like the highest grade of security, then the Powershred® 325i Strip-Cut Shredder; powering through up to 26 sheets of paper at a time as well as staples, credit cards, paper clips, CDs and DVDs.
